Was justing browsing through the forum store and got to thinking that maybe we should have some decals like Good Sam does for our rigs. . If any of you would want to put one on, but would be a good way to advertise the forum and also identify us in a campground at GTG's especially when meeting for the first time or a new member might be camping where one of us is and not even know another is around. Just a thought. This possible Beth? Also wondered if a "Sticky" was posted with the link to the store might generate generate more business?

I used to give out the Women RV magnets at gtg's. Not sure why I stopped. Don't even have mine out anymore

As per your request, I'm adding stickers to the site right now. I'll make a sticky post or announcement about the store later.

I haven't done a calendar with new pictures since 2013 - seems the interest in that lagged. If anyone wants to see that continue, I just need people to send me pictures - early enough so people can order the calendar to use :)

Some folks still have their flags from years ago and some of us tried to come up with another newer one. What we discovered is that we are a diverse group of independent women that like different things. LOL the part we agreed on the most was that we appreciated the Womenrv forum. :-). Flag designs not so much LOL

Thank you Beth. You are wonderful. Maybe it will work and maybe it won't. I can see Tina's point on the flags too. Some do, some don't. Things go in fads as we all know.

Not sure I'd want a decal, but maybe a Belle antennae topper. I like the flag idea too like maybe the ones that people have for their sports teams that attach to the top of car window.

Plus since a lot (not all) people have smart phone, besides the forum URL, a small QRC (/) code that would take them right to the site?

I would like some sort of symbol to post. A decal, sign in the front window, flag, etc. I would like it to symbolize our forum without telling everyone that this is a woman traveling alone.

Any artists out there? I cannot produce a picture, however, I can get things made. lyn

None of the things that say womenrv say anything about a woman traveling alone, as many of our members are not alone - married, partners, with children, etc etc.

That said, Tina was totally correct when no few people here could agree on a design. If you have a design - I would be able to incorporate it onto the cafe press site, most likely -

The flag worked for many years. But since there is a group definitely marked as the Pinkies we needed to get away from the flamingo. The flamingo flag design was one I created. So my thought was the Phoenix. We are all rising from the ashes because of something in our lives. The flag could be put in MH window, put on a flag stand outside or etc. I think we have come together for a new start on life, or a push forward in our lives. The Phoenix stands for that. We rise from the ashes to a new and better life.

Many want a TT on the sign, but some don't because they drive a class C, some didn't want that because they drive a class A. Therefore the phoenix seem to be a good base design. If you don't agree with this thought pattern I understand, but decals can't be seen from the road when you are parked, if you trade the decal goes with the unit. Now the next person is or isn't a member????? Something permanently stuck on, just isn't portable for those of us that chose the portable lifestyle.

Yeah, I'm not putting a decal on Hope. I hate it at Q when they put one on the window. I still have my flag that Nan (GentleLadyBear) made many moons ago and proudly stick it outside when we have a GTG. For a really long time it was the only flamingo thing I had since I'm truly not a flamingo person.

What Nan said. I like her idea of the Phoenix!
