WY Highway 16 vs. 14

Plotting route to Grant Village in Yellowstone from Rapid City, SD. Plan to take 90 to either Buffalo or Sheridan, WY. Was wondering which would be the best road, highway 16 from Buffalo or 14 from Sheridan?
