50 Years!

Today is our Golden Anniversary - 50 years. :o Hard to believe its been that long. We have no plans for today - it so far is a dark and gloomy day with rain in the forecast. Just enjoying being here and together and our good health. :D Will probably go out to breakfast and then we'll be waiting for some friends to show up in their RV. They'll be here for a week or so. So we'll be busy showing them around.

Oh! half a century sounds soooo long. When I turned 75 one of our kids remined me that was 3/4 of a century - gosh only really OLD people live that long!

I kept trying to watch the New Year calibration shows last night and I could not relate to any of the music by the younger generation. Remember looking around at my brothers and cousins at my parents 50 anniversary and realized that there had been a "changing of the guard". We "kids" were showing the gray and most had kids and grand kids there as well.

Enjoy the day you have earned it. :lol:
