Wow Beth, those are awesome pictures!! Thoroughly enjoyed that. I think those sunrises and sunsets are the best!
Thanks for sharing that. What an experience, eh?
I'm with you about the hunting with dogs and the whole "kill for the sport of it" thing. So sad it was to see that pheasant at the door.

enjoyed the catch up!! I grew up where game food was the staple...my dad was a rancher and to eat the
beef was taking money so it was deer elk moose mostly the first two..and that is how I feel hunt for the food
you can even hunt for the sport but eat the meat!!! hate the waste of a beautiful animal...what does it prove?
nothing ....I don't like game farms that isn't even sport in my mind...

I liked the sign about the happy people and the grouches. We have a town just south of Fort Wayne called Markle IN they have a similar sign http://swayzee.com/wordpress/?page_id=152 They are right off of I-69 exit 286 to the east. Funny thing is I remember 20 years ago when the sign said "and 1 grouch" and now they are up to 4 grouches.

I've seen a similar sign before, just usually don't have my camera ready our a place to pull over. Live that they have increased the number of grouches in that town!

Thanks Beth, loved the wonderful pictures! I too do not like hunting just for sport. Lyn
