Okay...no one has asked but I feel I need to let you know why I haven't posted,e-mailed, or PMd anyone in the last few days....Well, my New Year's resolution was to read and finish a series of book loaned to me last year while in GA, Camp hosting.....so for the last week I've been reading all 10 books in the "Left Behind" series.... I must say that I have been engrossed and enjoy them very much....and if you have read them, you know what I'm talking about....but am now on the last one...

Just wanted to let you all know I'm still live and kicking.... I just spent 45 minutes trying to catch up with all of you....and as we have all said..."Don't miss a day, cause you miss so much...."

Okay, back to the book....

That's a great series to read. Kirk Cameron made TV movies of the first two books. They were just on over the holidays. I have other Frank Peretti books that are page turners!

Whew....well, it took me a week, but got all books read in the "Left Behind" series read, so my New Year's Resolution is complete!!! Ernie hasn't seem my face in days.... or so he says.... We did get out today and enjoyed the sun and the warm temps...but, alas, it's to be in the 40s tonight....I know, that's not as cold as it is in the NE, but cold for coastal TX.......now, back to the football games......Go Steelers!!!

You read all 10 books in a week? Wow, go Lori! I've read the first 4, but it took me way longer than that, and then went on to other subjects and not gone back to the series yet.

I heard most of the books on tape. I did have to read one book in the series as I couldn't find the audio tape. I liked the series a lot. I didn't care for the movie version. I only watched for a few minutes. But I'm like that when I've read a book and then see a movie version. What about you? Cheryl

9 times out of 10 the books are much better than any movie!

If they made the movie to reflect everything in the book it would be hours and hours of viewing so some things have to be cut.

Remember years ago when they made a movie about the Bible? I think Charlton Heston starred? It wasn't as good as the book.
