Spring trip cancelled

After doing a lot of checking on weather I'm going to not head North so early in the year. Was heading out so early because I'll be in Clayton, OK the first weekend of April for my daughter's vow renewal. I just don't think I'll enjoy a trip where its so cold so I'll just head back to Texas till mid-May or later. So after much planning I will be taking a totally different route IF I go at all.

Maybe you can just change it some by staying further south. That is a good time of year to explore the desert areas because it isn't too hot yet and you can see all the flowers blooming then. Maybe Colorado, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, etc?

Sounds like a smart decision. I hate being cold, too.

Have spent a lot of time in the southwest. Was trying to do and go somewhere different. Just too early in the season.

So wait a bit and still do the trip - just after it's a tad better weatherwise!
