Yesterday we took a drive in a different area of Guaymas. Just some pictures of life in a typical neighborhood of the city. Homes, stores, topes and sports parks.

I am surprised that there are bars on the windows of the second stories on those houses. Is that more for decoration or for safety?
I would be embarrassed to build and live in a big, expensive home in such a poor area. Kind of a slap in the face to the people who live there with barely a roof over their heads.
