Polar bears ---- or not
Posted: Tue Nov 18, 2014 10:22 pmWe flew up to Churchill this morning. The ice along the shores of Hudson Bay came during a cold snap so most, if not all, the bears have moved on. Not very encouraging. This evening we went in a polar rover out to a 'remote' temporary tour lodge with big outside lights. While we had dinner on the rover, we had Arctic fox coming and going a great deal of the time. We know there were at least two. Tomorrow is eight hours out searching.
