If you have a Verizon data plan

A few weeks ago someone mentioned getting more data for less money. I checked our plan and found I could get 15GB for instead of our 12 for same price.
I had a large data usage this month (thinking it was the Trojans found on my computer) so we are running close to our limit. I looked at Verizon this morning with the thought of upping our data for the month. Guess what I found! Our 15GB is now $10 less than before!
Verizon certainly isn't going to tell you so suggesting everyone take a look!

I posted a couple on months ago I went to Verizon to try and reduce my monthly bill. In the end I added a tablet (for the cost of the activation fee), gained 5 GB (now at 13 GB a month) and my bill went down about $30 a month. If your phone(s) are off plan you can save $15 a month per phone. I also think Verizon is starting to feel the pinch from their competitors. Sounds like I need to go poke them again.
One of the guys at work has a Straight Talk unlimited plan which is like $45 a month. He bought his own phone and pays by the year, so it comes out to like $23 a month. Says he runs on 4G until he hits 20 GB in the month then it throttles him back to 3G. Straight talk in our area runs on the Verizon network.

LeRoy and I share a free call and text plan. If you go to your account on Verizon, click on Change Plans, it will show you what is available and what price. Today it showed 15 GB for $100 and we were paying $110. I just 'changed my plan' to get the savings - that's what I did last time as well to go from 12 to 15 at the same price.

I was getting 10g for $100. $100 will now get you 15, or if you only need 10g it is now $80, a $20 savings....but you have to choose it or they'll keep on charging you $100. Hmmm...

I converted my Millenicom to a no contract Verizon, 1 year, 20 GB, for $100 plus taxes and fees. This is $10+ more. So I am still looking for a good plan. May go to a pay as you go plan if it looks good. In a year my situation will be, so they say, on a contract basis and will be at a greater cost.

I don't think they bought them - just Millenicom no longer sells plans using Verizon. Verizon took over all the customers they had using their services. We may never know what happened there - but my guess is some bad blood for sure.

Went on Verizon last night since it was the end of my billing cycle and upgraded to 15 GB data and saved $30 a month. More for less, makes me a happy camper
