Well now that I'm home and have a few minutes to sit and relax I can tell ya'll my news. Well not just mine but ours.
We have new jobs.
We will be going to them the first week in May.
In Arizona.
5 miles from the north rim of the Grand Canyon.
At Kaibab Lodge.
With Sparkle!!!!!
The area might never be the same!
Hope the cops are to far away to be called often!
Sparkle sent me a PM way back in either the last part of September or the first of October asking me if Kelly and I would be interested in a couple of jobs out there as the owner was looking for people who might be hard working and dependable. I admit I had to think about it and then said, "what the heck"! Called and spoke to the owner and she sent the apps for Kelly and I, we've since done out a 2nd set of apps and signed the release for background checks. Finally got the call yesterday afternoon that we had the jobs! WOOOOHOOOOO
We are super excited about this. I admit that I am also at the same time scared half to death at jumping into this. The one thing that scares me so badly is that if something so badly we will basically be stuck cause we don't have an RV to pull out and live in until we find something else. EEEEKKKKK So ya'll better believe that we will be working hard at making sure this all works out.
OMG!!! Here we go!!!

Echo and Kelly,
That is wonderful news! Of course, I knew yesterday after I let Sparkle know I turned down my job offer. So, although I won't be your boss, I think you both will have a great experience there. It's a very cool place. And, you'll get to see one of my favorite spots, besides the Grand Canyon. Since one of the nearest places to shop is Kanab, Utah, you'll get to see where I loved spending 7 months last year. Neat little town.
I wish you the best in your new jobs! And now you get to thumb your noses at the job from hell.
At least if you're so inclined.

I'm SO happy for you both !!! YeeHa !!!!
Will you be staying in a cabin ?
I got something in an email the other day and part of it said .....
"There's a story about an Indian chief who counsels a young brave that 'when you get to the chasm, jump - it's not as far as it looks'"
I'm proud of you two for jumping ! It's worth taking a chance - the job you have now seems to have sucked all the joy from you - it's all you do and that's just not right. It's time for you and Kelly to live !!! You know that if for some reason it doesn't work out, something else will be waiting for you - once you take that first leap the next one will be easier - once you have some time to breath, your eyes will open to all the possibilities out there !!!
I'm smiling here - such good news !!!

Wow, Echo & Kelly, a big 'ol TN congrats. It sounds so exciting. I have been to the south rim and the west but never North rim. It is beautiful out there. I could just be envious but I'm too happy for you. Guess that answers the questions about the TN gtg. You won't be here. I know you will keep us updated. Good luck, girls. I'm very happy for you both.

So happy for you both. You will love it there - and any thing has to be better than what you are doing now. The area is fantastic. Bet you can't wait. Do you still have to take the computer test you've been studying for?

Anyway, looking forward to seeing you. You probably feel you are on the edge of the diving board. Don't worry. Come on in, the water's fine.

Wow, what exciting news you have. Congratulations!
Maybe you will be able to make the Western GTG in Moab, if the timing works out with your schedule.
Good Luck on the new job.

That is fantastic news! You left some of us hanging this a.m. and guaranteed to check back this evening!! As if we don't! Ron and I have both been to the South, and Ron went to the North years ago when he was in high school. So it looks as though you'll be doing some sorting, packing, etc.!! I know you'll keep us posted.
