From sea to oasis San Carlos

Took a rough drive out into the desert today to Nacapula Canyon. It is an oasis in the bottom of a canyon. Cactus and palm trees. Very interesting. Lots of different plants and butterflies and even hummingbirds.

Oh yes, I found a place for you all to stay in Guyamas when you visit down here

This will be last from San Carlos - Guyamas area as we leave tomorrow for another beach town about 150 south of here. From there we will take a day and drive into Alamos in the car. Until then.....

OUch - that ride must have hurt. I'm feeling the bumps from here. But the pics are gorgeous, and the narrative, as always wonderful. I'll be looking forward to seeing where you land further down the road.

oh my goodness, the road was a little rough in spots, but appears to be worth
the drive, lovely pictures, especially the flamingo motel, :lol:

Thanks for the photos. Loved the narrative ... kept waiting for a picture of the actual oasis ... thirstier and thirstier ... but no .... (sniff!).
