FINALLY! Some good news from Verizon

As you all know, I have been very unhappy with Verizon this summer because my new Jetpack gobbles up data, and I have made many calls to Verizon about this and about the Canadian roaming charges they kept promising to remove and then did not remove.
So, I went into the corporate Verizon store in Napa today between doctor appointments. I took my old, broken jetpack, and they were able to fix it by putting in a new SIM card. Wish I had done that in June instead of buying a new one, but at that time, I figured it was impossibly broken and could not be so easily fixed. Anyway, for $20 per month, I also had them add it to my plan so I can use it for general surfing and only use the new one for times when I need super speed, such as online video conferencing.
The big news, however, is that for some strange reason Verizon is doubling the number of Gigs per month they provide to all users of more than 12 Gigs a month, offer good through October 31. It's called More Everything and is different from the More Everything that had last winter. So now, for the same price, I will get 40 Gigs per month starting tomorrow. (Wonder if all my ranting through about 20 phone calls pushed them over the edge? ) Anyway, if you have Verizon, you might want to check the web site and change your plan. I think there are some increases for people who use less data than I do.
So hopefully, I can be done with Verizon for a while since all this has not been good for my blood pressure. I will still have to be careful about how I use data, but maybe I will not have to rely on free WiFi in campgrounds and McDonalds and can get back to using only my own service. Life is certainly easier in a sticks and bricks home, isn't it? Just celebrated with a sub for lunch/dinner and some chocolates, which solve almost everything.
Only other problem is that both my trigger finger and my carpal tunnel syndrome is back, so on Thursday I will get injection in left hand for trigger finger and surgery for carpal tunnel syndrome. Hope it is not too bad and I can still use a mouse. Anyone have this surgery who can advise me on how limited I might be?
