Posted: Mon Sep 15, 2014 12:16 pmThank you everyone! The cake looks yummy. I will serve cake after hubby grills me a beautiful steak this evening. We had planned to go to Apple Hill today but with the El Dorado County King Fire exploding up in the area, I don't want to risk my sensitive lungs in the smoke. But I shall have a wonderful day anyway! And thank you cake lady for being such a talented baker! I so much appreciate the friendship this group has shared even though I have not had the chance to meet any of you in person, I feel the caring and support of you all.

Hubby fixed a butter lettuce salad with blue cheese dressing, sherried mushrooms, carmelized onion, grilled steaks and my son helped me find a place to get gluten free cupcakes. It was a very nice day and hubby got me this fantastic, made in the US Vollrath Induction burner (I would have been happy with a NuWave but he researches and buys the best he can find). I can even melt and temper chocolate so if I get to a gtg we can have chocolate fondue! Son got me the hookups so I can use my iPhone hooked to car speakers for music. All your wishes just added to the wonderful day.
