First, two pics looking out my bedroom window this morning:

My favorite statue in Keystone:

What it means:

If I was this robin, I'd think about heading south soon.

Saw many other birds - ravens, mountain bluebirds, blue jays, etc - but this one seemed to be posing. Plus in what look like black and white photos, the colors wouldn't stand out anyway!

Heading back on the road to our rv ...

It's continued snowing a bit all day - but doesn't seem to be accumulating any more. Now we are hearing about a hard freeze for tonight. Then, tomorrow, it will slowly start getting warmer again. I'm predicting a very, very slow night at work.

Wow! Makes me appreciate California where I am. Today it will hit 100 ! Stay warm. Time for homemade soup or chili.

It is so amazing that the snow has created black and white photos and the colors look like they have been added. Great pics.

If I were around, I'd loan you my flannel lined jeans! And my Ariat shoes that Carol Lamphere introduced me to. They are warm, dry and toasty! Keep safe!

Thanks, Beth, for the photos! I think! Not ready to see this yet! But did remind me I need to get the old snowblower to the shop to see if it can be fixed or if I'm going to need a new one this year. And I'm not even done lawn mowing yet! I have a feeling it's going to be an interesting winter! Hope you get out of that area before it really sets in!

Snow has stopped, temps will be very cold overnight. Mid to upper 40's tomorrow. Probably hit 80 next weekend. I'll be moved to Gettysburg, SD then.

Love the black and white photos - snow this early, not so much.
After last night's storms it has cooled down in southern MO also. May want winter PJs tonight.

It's a 4 letter word that begins with "S" and my mother said I should not say 4 letter words that start with "S".
