Beth & Sparkle's photos

Postby Sparkle » Fri Jan 09, 2009 12:55 am

Beth and I went to the Aquarium in Corpus Christi today. These are Comb Jellies. I hope the color shows. They were facinating, lights constantly running through them like moving neon signs.

These are Moon Jellies.

It took forever to upload these, and obviously there was more to the Aquarium than Jellyfish. But I'll let Beth continue this post with her pictures and then I'll post more.

Love the purple stripe jellies! Thanks Sparkle for taking the time to load them to Photobucket for us. I'd love to head South, you know that 'want to run away from it all' feeling one gets in the winter, for me it is usually in Jan. or Feb. It looks like you and Beth are having a great time.

Thanks Sparkle for sharing your pics with us. I have learned something else on this forum. I have never seen such as those creatures. Any jellyfish I've seen have just been blobs on the beach, I tried not to step on. Just another sign there IS SO MUCH OUT THERE TO SEE. :o

I'm thinking I wish I was there with you two to be in on all of the adventures you're having. Keep the pics coming, and most of all, keep having fun

Sorry - have been gone all day and haven't got my aquarium pics to Photobucket yet - will do so and add some (if mine turned out good enough) tomorrow.

It is so hard to get photos of aquatic life. The reflections and movement make is to hard for novice photogarphers like me that aren't very familiar with all the various settings and stuff, to that million dollar shot. /Great pictures. Looking forward to more of your day of exploring together.
