..
I'd be concerned about the effect it could have on dogs.
I know Abby went crazy with the supposedly "silent" Bark-Off, even when it was turned off. I had to unplug the battery.

I agree, especially since it says not to use it around kids because they might be able to hear it.

Not for me. My phone is not "smart" enough for apps. Plus if I find a bug, I get some Bengles - I know it works!!

Maybe it could be useful if there are other people's little kids running through your campsite...

You people are ruthless! But there was a time when I could have used a tripwire, when three little brats kept running right next to my door, and when I approached their mother she said "Oh, they love to play chase!" Stupid woman.

Here's my nightmare - Front Porch Snake Sex...
Guess that'll teach 'em to have sex on my front porch!
And I won't be yelling at Abby to quit barking any time soon (those side doors were open and she saw the snakes goin' at it.)

Did you at least observe nature at work - I would have watched for a while.

Curious what kind of snakes they were. Although rattlesnakes are in our region we have not seen any. However we have had a few non venomous snakes years ago. Son woke one night to our calico cat presenting him, as in laying it on his bare chest middle of night a still alive snake. Needless to say cat was not happy when he tossed snake across the room then had to get up, find snake and remove it to outdoors. Cat thought he was very ungrateful for her gift.
