I have had the twin size one since 2006 and I love it! This is a great option if you have a bed that you can't walk around to make (or even if you do). It is expensive but totally worth it IMHO. You can remove the sheets for washing and it has a summer side and a winter side. It looks like they've made them a little larger now so they hang over the edge of the bed for a nicer look.

Anyway, just wanted to share with everyone! If you're looking for an easy solution to making your corner, cabover, camper, or even a walkaround bed, this is it!

Laura, thanks for posting. I know that I have seen Liz's. I wonder about the quality of the sheets. As I got older I learned to appreciate nice bed linens and 200 count has me wondering about the feel and texture. Anybody know first hand?

As of now I only use a nice fitted sheet on the bottom and a soft thin down filled comforter (or 2) on top.

The sheets in mine are very soft but I have felt another set for the queen size and they aren't as soft but they were new. I've had mine 8 years so maybe they get softer with each washing but I don't ever remember mine being rough.

I am a sheet snob too so understand your desire for nice linens LOL

If you want a higher thread count, you could try this:

http://www.rvsuperbag.com/

They offer 300 and 525 count cotton sheets. It will cost you though!

My Travasak sheets were comfortable, but a pain to velcro back inside the comforters. I use the two twins I have for extra bedding now in the overcab bed. Makes that bed very easy to make up for guests....not that I have many, but once in awhile. For the time being I am able to make up my corner bed with a little effort, and enjoy my regular bedding.

(it looks like they may have improved the design by using two sheets instead of one long one folded over. Also, the zippers come completely apart now. That might make it easier to velcro the sheets back on.

I buy inexpensive comforters, which I like. Peaches is hard on them. Before her Tips had an oily coat that would stain them. But I looked again at these when I saw them back out and needed to get all new sheets, etc because my bed changed size. Talking to Liz, I decided against the Travasak. For everyday use at that price, I just can't talk myself into them. And I was sure, when I first saw them back, I'd get them. Funny how we change.

I know just what you mean, Beth. I keep thinking they might be easier for me, but hesitate to bite the bullet. Besides, last I checked they didn't come in a color to complement Flitter's gray and blue. I suppose once I get to the point of not being able to climb up on the bed to make it, I should quit RVing. I could always sleep on the sofa, but I'd have to be a wrestler to open it!

Sounds like everyone has mixed feelings about them.

In my Free Spirit SS I have a memory foam sofa that folds out to a double bed. On top of that I put a 3" memory foam topper, that I roll up in the daytime and store in my closet or on the passenger seat. The topper had a zip-on cover that keeps it clean. On the topper I have a sheet set that has the top sheet sewn to the bottom fitted sheet. When I roll up the topper, the sheets are in place inside of the roll. At night I just unroll the foam topper with the sheets already on it, and throw on a blanket and/or quilt. I do wish I had a permanent bed, and maybe someday I will. But this works for me now.
