Back from our 1st group outing!
Posted: Mon Apr 07, 2014 4:51 pmreturned from Arbuckle lake in southern Oklahoma yesterday. Stayed at Buckhorn Landing Loop C spot# 56. The PERFECT spot! tent camping was offered on the outer sites with rv's on the inside. last inside site (356) with no room on the outside for a tent. so a perfect view of the lake the entire weekend with no worry of anyone blocking that view.
had to use the leveling block for the first time, need to get some more of those! also used the leveling jacks for the first time. we did good!!
weather on Friday was beautiful, Saturday was grey and ended up being rainy and sunday was rainy right up until the time we left. didn't slow us down a bit! had friends tent camp and another group that came down and stayed in the edimarie with us. found out our dog lucy really doesn't appreciate a dog larger than herself. they settled down after awhile.
had a great, great time and can't wait to go again. I tell ya, I'm lovin' this rv thing more every time we go somewhere.
don't get my #56 spot, we're going back soon.
