Happy New Year Gals!
We caught up with the Boomers up at Mittry Lake near Yuma for a potluck lunch on New Years Day. Many will head to Quartzsite for the Big gathering in " Boomerville" a couple miles from the Big tent.

Wow Jenny, nice crowd and that looked like a lot of fun. I couldn't find Dan in there though, I'll see if I can find him in the morning, its late.

Dan is in the back row, beige cap with the red hummingbird feeder right above his head, I told all the tall guys to be in the back. So funny how I had to whistle to get everyone's attention and then friend Patsy told everyone to get together for the group shot for the newsletter.

Hi Jenny, what a beautiful place. Is the place you boondocked hard to find? Can you fish at the lake? I could probably entice my DH for a weekend road trip if he saw this place and could fish too.

The R(O)Ving Rods group have camped here and gone fishing, I did see someone fishing yesterday but don't know if and what they caught. Everyone is Boondocking out there. Not too hard to find and we have the Boomers going there every year for Thanksgiving and New Years. DH and I did not take the motorhome over since we could just do a day trip there with the Jeep. It's quiet and there are coyotes so they warn everyone to keep a close eye on their pets and leave no food out.

Cedar, you know - Boomers are the generation born from 1946-1964. Heck, you're probably one of them! I know I am!

No, I didn't know,... I've heard of the "baby boom" which was post-WWII,... different term. and no,... I'm born BEFORE those years!

You certainly don't look like you were born before those years, Cedar !!!!

Actually the Boomer group are Escapee members and you can be any age but have to have a young at heart attitude to be with us, no old sourpusses allowed lol. The Escapees have different kinds of groups and they are all called BOF's or Birds Of a Feather.
Every year the Boomers meet up at Mittry lake and Quarzsite or when we are traveling around we always try to get some mini rangs together for a good time. Many are still working or working on the road doing Workamping, some are part-timers and full-timers.
We love to have get togethers though and our Potlucks are legendary!
