Why do people toss money into the cell?

I guess they're using the pee pot for a wishing well. Or maybe the museum staff put it there to encourage others to have fun donating for the upkeep.

Very pretty area with the lake.

They should pain those big water towers blue to match the sky so they wouldn't be so obvious behind the mission.
