Salvation Mountain is a cultural landmark of folk art. It is Leonard Knight's gift to the world.

I think I simply need to do a post with this title and a link to your blog! This explains why I have more books read than you. Great post of that part of our day.

Great report, Liz.
So good to know the mountain will be maintained.

Very interesting place! Are they going to keep working on it and expanding it, or just preserving what is there now?

How many cats are living there? Did you see any?

Funny he didn't build an adobe house for himself to live in. I would think it would be nice and cool in the summertime.
