Nikki and I made Karen walk much farther than she anticipated and I hope she will sleep well tonight....rather that than leg cramps.
But it was a good day of exploring the Desert Botanical Garden.....

"Karen and Nikki posing in front of the Saguaro so that you can see the size. These guys have some age on them........You know I am talking about the cactus, right? "
What a colorful post. I've seen the PBS special on Chihuly glass a few times. Amazing to me that they stand weather elements.

Thank you, Tina.
That freezer reminds me of the one in my rig; cannot even see in it standing on the floor.
The Chihuly exhibit is amazing and love seeing all the smiling faces at gtg.

I love Chihuly glass! I've seen a fair bit of his work, but I've never been lucky enough to see one of the garden displays. Wonderful!!

We had a really fun day even if I did walk my a$$ off. I had my lights out by 8pm and slept like a log. I could look at Chahuly glass for hours. The way his mind works fascinates me.

Karen, did they have an indoor space where they could show that film of Chihuly in his studio working glass? It's amazing! It's also available on DVD, but it's really fun to see it on the big screen.

Old Town Temecula is pretty cool! Spent some time shopping there and was really pretty all decked out for Christmas!
Love the glass sculptures in the gardens! Very cool!
Looks like another fun, successful GTG!

Sandi, the exhibit is going to Denver after Phoenix - opens sometime in June. I think you'll be headed east before then and don't know your plans for travel back to CA.
