between the stress of living with son and "strange" girlfriend and wanting to get out so bad I can taste it, trying to get all my ducks in a row
and do all the necessary documentation for the upcoming renewal on my license......well, it was time for a meltdown. When I went to
Colorado on vacation I made a trip over to the county recorder and got a copy of the marriage license I needed to prove my last name.
All is good and I had told myself I wasn't waiting til the last minute and over time got the other necessary documents, birth certificate
and another marriage license and all arrived as needed. Today being an early release day I thought would be a good day to go to dmv
and get the renewal done since it has to be done by Monday. Well, I went to get my document from Colorado and it was gone! Thought
I searched my room from top to bottom. Then I thought, oh, I think its still in my suitcase so figured the trip out to the rv and then over
to dmv and I'd still get home by rush hour. It was NOT in my suitcase :? so no trip to dmv. But halfway home ( we're talking
over 20 miles) I was so upset I couldn't remember shutting the door on the fifthwheel and locking it. :o so I called the storage place and
they very kindly went and checked and called me back. Yes it was shut and locked as well.
Again I tear my room apart looking for the document and finally decided I better call Colorado and see about ordering a new one. I was
lucky to get them before closing with time to spare and she said I'd need to go to the post office and write a handwritten request with
names and dates etc and purchase a next day prepaid envelope and send it with and send it next day, and by latest I would get it Saturday.
When I had explained to her about needing it by monday etc and it was for my drivers license, I could no longer hold it in and just fell
apart bawling like a baby. Get all the info I needed but no time now to get to the post office so figure first thing in the morning. I decided
to make one last ditch effort to find it, pulling the drawer entirely out of the space and low and behold, there it was, stuck up against
the back of the drawer. What a relief, all it took was a good cry. God is good.
So tomorrow during break I can go get my license renewed. :P
There is so much other stuff going on in this house I don't know why I haven't had a meltdown sooner.

My goodness! Happy you found it.

I'm glad you found it, as I was reading, I feared someone had done something to it. Maybe it was just what was needed for you to have a release for the pressure that's been building up. Go ahead as release the steam whenever you need to.

I've had many days like that! Ugh! No fun, but it is good to get it all out of your system. Good luck with everything and hopefully it will all be better soon once you are back in your "home sweet home"!

You're right, sometimes it takes a good cry! Glad you found your M license, it probably just got shoved back there when you were looking for something else. You've been doing so much sorting and shredding I was afraid you had accidentally shredded it! Sending a hug with Tina for you!

I was afraid of that too, also thought the previous lunatic girlfriend that came into the house unauthorized during our trip
to San Diego, stole my 18 caret gold ring....thought she might have got it for trying to steal my identity. Glad this ordeal is
over with and I can go to DMV during my break today. Phew, I don't need any more drama in my life right now.

phew! Horrible day Ava. I too thought someone took it to do no good with it. So glad things seem on track again. Just vent, blow steam, scream, cry, whatever. Don't hold it in. Look on the bright side, a few more days and all the aggravation with be gone!
