Great post. I'm sooooo homesick! The fates apparently thought it would be funny to put this California girl in Texas.

Thanks for a great post Tina. It sure brought back memories. As a flight attendant for United after graduating from college, during my layovers in San Diego I was put up at the Hotel Del Coronado. Not bad, huh? Nice to see it again.

How fun to tour the tall ships! I want to sail on one some day. I hear 3-day cruises are a possibility. Whee!

Very interesting, Tina.
And so happy to see that you did go to Coronado; I love that old hotel. Think I had an ice cream cone last time I was there.

I just love how your blog tells its story. Great pictures. We were in San Diego in 1981 for a class for hubby in the Navy and visited some of those ships. Glad to see they are still there.
Happy travels
