Back in the USA and visiting San Diego

Lyn picked me up at the campground here in San Diego and we toured the afternoon away....with a stop for dinner. Tomorrow is another day and more sightseeing.

didn't realize you were leaving Mx so soon!!! now to enjoy San Diego for a bit
looked like a nice day ...what was Mitch's hurry hasn't she heard of the weather back East?
you could always head back up this way

My parents lived in San Diego for several years, back in the 60's. I don't remember much of it so really enjoying your tour.pictures are great !!

And I'm only a couple hours away from you guys! Looks like a great time :D Will most likely meet up with Lyn in AZ, although I still have a month here in SoCal....Welcome back to the USA, Tina & poopers!

Thank you, Tina. Glad you have such a great tour guide there.
I love that area. SAIC had corporate headquarters in LaJolla and I was lucky enough to make frequent trips out there in the late 1970s and 80s. They later moved to Campus Point, not as interesting there.

Ah, I so love LaJolla, I can't believe they let the sea lions take over the beautiful beaches. I lived in San Diego in '84 & '85 and except for the traffic and the cost of living, absolutely loved it. Winters like we are having this year make me question my sanity for returning to Illinois. I have many wonderful memories of those years. Ask Lyn if Diego's restaurant in Pacific Beach is still there it was one of our favorites.
