Pics from Here and There

Pictures from our quick visit to La Paz and the beach there. Mitch and I are in a campground in Loreto but a different one than we stayed in on the way south. That one didn't have room for us this time around. As we drove north I glimpsed Liz's rig along the access road to little beach she and Beth were going to check out. I had already seen the steep narrow section leading down into the wash complete with pot holes on our way south and had declined to try to take my rig down there. Liz and Beth were going to stop check it out and walk back to the beach area and see if anyone down there had anything to report as to the best method to get the RVs down the hill. We haven't heard anything from them so I am guessing that they were successful in their attempts.

Mitch and I will head on to the beach at Santispac and hang around there for a while. When we hit the beach we won't have internet either... :)

Thanks, Tina.
I keep having visions of how much sand the dogs are bring into the rigs and how much is staying on their fur. Don't think I'd ever get Nicky clean from that much less the rig.
However it looks like so much fun, I'm sure it is worth the extra sand removal efforts.

Thank you I could not help but laugh as I read:

"The young wife with the small child on her hip was taking it all in stride. She mentioned that maybe her husband might even listen for a day or too. I mentioned that we had all gotten out and walked the driving choices between the dunes and on the beach because of what we had read in the "book." She laughed and said that she had the same book and had read the same passage to her husband, but he didn't think it was needed...Or at least he didn't think he needed it...... :=) "

More lovely beach . . . few things are as good as walking beside big water! :D

It's so nice that that young mother was so calm! I'd have been mighty grumpy in her place. Come to think of it, I've been in those situations, and I was indeed grumpy!

Just heavenly! I can't wait to go some day, myself. I want to experience the desert, too, but my love is the water. Thanks for sharing!

Beth and I are now in Loreto, at the alternate cg too. We will stay 2 nights to get caught up on laundry and internet. We'll make our way toward Mulege with a stop at Buenaventura Resort and Restaurant on the way.
