I am so thankful it was peaceful for her. I think I have everything necessary taken care of for now but it sure is going to be an adjustment for me. I have had her with me for so long it will be so strange not to have her near by.
She was an amazing woman though. She will be missed sooooo much!
I am also so grateful my kids were able to come home at this time. The Red Cross helped so much getting my son released from his military duties and my daughter is by my side also. Now to get through these first difficult days. One step at a time.

So sorry for your loss. Keep all the good memories close. In past similar experiences, I found it helpful for me to write down all the things I remembered and loved about my loved one (things we did, what I loved so much about them, things I didn't want to forget, etc.) so I could go back and read them often. Those remembrances are cherished now many years later. I did this within a few days while everything was so fresh in my mind. Prayers for peace for you, your family and friends. ((((HUGS))))

So sorry... Thoughts & prayers are headed your way to see you all through the days, weeks & yes, even months & years ahead.
It will be an adjustment but keep an eye out for her blessings to flow to you all. it is amazing how many we experienced after Mom passed on.

I did this too for my mom the day she passed. And I ended up reading it for her eulogy. I still have it and read it occasionally. I think about her every day and dream about her almost every night. I feel her around me all the time.
Take care and know that she is still with you.
