Wonderful pic Liz. Whales - birds - and the bonus of sea lions. Another group of sites for my bucket list.

Are you reading my mind? :D

Great pictures Liz. Sounds like an amazing excurison. It rained here in Mazatlan yesterday and most of last night.
As for the videos - TelCel does not like to upload them. Takes a very very long time. I hold them until I can get a regular wifi connection then do it.
IF - Sometimes very early in the morning or late at night it is possible to upload video on TelCel. Somewhat depends on how many people are using it.

Liz, those photos are exceptional! Wow! May I ask, please, what kind of camera you are using??? (I know most of it is in the skill of the photographer, but some of us need at least a fighting chance! ;))

Any good digital camera will take nice pictures. The difference may be in the amount of zoom. I use a Canon SX40HS with 35X optical zoom and 12.1 mega pixels and image stabilizer. It is basically a point and shoot. I mainly use the auto focus feature, but for the moving whales I used the "sports" setting that takes continuous shots as you hold down the shutter. The result was a gazillion photos with a few good shots, haha.

If that's basically a "point and shoot," I think I'd better just stick to my iPhone. ;) They are marvelous shots, Liz, and I think I like the birds shots best of all. I don't know what you did, but somehow, they're not just birds.

Loved your blog post, Liz. Isn't there some place you could send your photo and have it made into a puzzle? Happy New Year. Peggy

There is a website I used to use that you can change any photo into a puzzle and put it together online.
