Nice to revisit via your blog. I've been able to pick pomegranates off trees here - but the last few weeks they are now past prime. Was nice to not have to buy them.

Thanks. I really enjoyed the tour. I've driven through fort Stockton but never stopped to poke around. We sometimes miss things on the way to other things.

What a wonderful tour you gave us ! I doubt I would have really seen all the interesting things you showed, if I had been there. It's amazing the town is in as good condition as it is. That was great, I thoroughly enjoyed !!! To bad you couldn't have stayed for services in that little church, I was glad to read they still use that lovely old building.
I know this post took a great deal of time, BUT I more then enjoyed it all, Thank you !!

Wonderful blog post as usual, Liz. Loved the shot of the pomergrante . Beth, they cost $2.50 each here in CT, so enjoy the free ones. It's warmer here today. Peggy

Liz,
Your tour of Fort Stockton is so interesting. As many times as I have passed through there on my way out of TX heading west, I have never taken in the history and I just recently, in July, spent the night there at the Fort Stockton RV Park. I didn't realize how much there was to see there so now I have seen it through your eyes. I MUST take more time to stop and smell the roses!
Thank you for a great tour.
Judy

As usual, you find stuff to see in towns I've spent the night in and figured there wasn't anything to see. Good job, Liz!

I wish I had my camera today when we passed the giant road runner with a big icicle hanging off his beak.
