RV from 125 years ago

A friend sent me an email about logging in the Pacific northwest before chainsaws were invented. I thought this was kind of interesting, a mobile office and "RV" made from a hallowed out log. (no I didn't check Snopes if true or not :? :D )

Looked on Snoops since you mentioned it and found nothing. Did find this website http://www.digthatcrazyfarout.com/oneloghouse/ Was made as a promotion tool but too large to transport very far.

I saw something similar to that in a museum out west....made from a hollowed redwood tree, I think.
