And so the adventure of the winter begins for Liz! Glad Nan can travel with you as far as she can in order to be back for her "executive" duties! You find some of the neatest places to explore! Happy Trails!

oh wow, how very very interesting and I must say a little scary how the water disappears and goes underground, and the "natural" roadway
that leads to the rivers rise....my mind would wonder if it was going to collapse into a sinkhole. I think the scary and intriguing is what
keeps us keeping on. I would love to go there and visit.

Very interesting, Liz (as always)! I wonder how many of these rivers that go underground there are. We ride the ATVs on the Hassyampa River near Wickenburg, AZ that goes under.

I love your blog post, Liz. Thank you so much for taking us along. Happy to know that Nan is travelling with you as far as Texas. No telling how much trouble you two can get into, but it's all fun. Enjoy the journey.

That is exactly what I was thinking! With all the stories lately of sinkholes in Florida, you just never know! :o

I talked with a man once who did scuba diving down in those underground rivers. That I could never do! lyn
