Letterboxing

Somebody along the road mentioned letterboxing so I did a little researching.
I think it sounds like fun, and have been thinking about what I would like
in terms of a rubber stamp. I could actually combine something like this with
hiking and include my dogs. Google search revealed lots of sites but this one
was quite helpful. Geocaching also sounds like fun but that involves a gps but
is very similiar. If anyone has done this I'd like to hear some stories.

I haven't actually done this, but heard about it and researched it a couple of years ago and thought it looked like fun! There are actually several letterboxes on trails around my home. neat stuff!

Our dd tried to get us to do this and admit it sounds like fun but keep forgetting to do it!!!
Now I can't remember how to find where to look for the clues
Can you help me dd will think that I'm being forgettful
