I clipped the gate with Rosie this morning when we went to go get the brake tag, quick glance and I thought it was just the light on the side that broke, but it turned out to be a lot worse. The back corner piece buckled and it feels damp inside the opening. I sent a message over to the salesperson at berryland in hopes that the cover the water damage. I don't have an issue covering the exterior even though the damage wouldn't be anything, providing it would not have been as bad if the nails were in a dry surface. Really upset over this because I just have it a week! I'm going to look over the contract again, but isn't there a lemon law that protects people from buying things with hidden damage?

For now, it's all covered with outdoor duct tape.

Any advice on this? Any lawyers in the house?

I am so sorry to hear about this problem. I do not have any advice. I think you calling the dealing first was a great idea. Hopefully, he can help with this matter.

Salesperson will get with his manager on Monday. I did get the US Plus warranty, not sure if they would cover this, but they are not open today.

If you have the extended warranty either that or your auto coverage on the motorhome should cover it. When I lose an awning the auto coverage replaces it. So think you will be okay on getting this fixed.

Thank you Nan, yes, I did get U.S. Plus warranty, hopefully this will be covered there if the dealer doesn't cover it. I'm just really discouraged over all this

Some things can't be seen - so maybe you should count your lucky stars for the little damage that made that come to light - where it can be taken care of.

My ex and I purchased a house that looked really good - and he was in construction and knew what to look for .. but a few weeks after purchasing, when he took down a wall (we were making changes) lots of things done wrong were discovered that were a disaster - and costly to fix. Hopefully the extended warranty you have will cover all this for you.
