Ugh! Grew up in Seattle where we had huge slugs - sometimes 8 or 9 inches long. Ugggh!!

Yes, we battle slugs here in Oregon. They can indeed get quite large! An interesting fact - every slug has both male and female sex organs next to their heads. I guess they just pull out whatever they need at the time....might well be confusing to the kid in the costume...

Very adorable, even the slime!! Someone did an excellent job with that costume, much more creative than I ever was.
