Here are some pics from my day in the woods yesterday... The link is for a slideshow from Photobucket. (Takes too long to copy pics on here and can only do 4 of them before my computer locks up, for some reason
)
There are only 37 pics so won't take too long to go thru them.

Pretty pictures, Barbie. I've gotten several good pictures here on the farm. Maple tree outside one window turns a glorious yellow shade. Makes the whole room glow when the sun shines thru it. The sugar maple out back was flame red, but Friday nights wind tore all the leaves off. I'm glad I got a picture earlier in the day.

The trees right out in front of my apartment turn a bright glowing yellow too, but so far they are still green.
I have been finding a lot of those wooly bear catapillars lately. This guy I found on the road so I rescued him

Great pictures, thanks Barbie. The wooly worms I've seen this year have that same coloring.The ones I usually see are a solid color.

Pretty! Thanks for sharing.
(One reason it freezes on you when uploading and sharing - is the size of the pictures. I always resize my pictures before uploading to photobucket - pb is automatically showing them smaller for the slideshow - but the actual pictures are gigantic. And what you want if you wanted a good quality print of them.) I'm surprised it doesn't freeze up just uploading them - but you probably have a super fast connection at home.)

It takes a long time...
I upload them from my SD card. How do I resize them from that?

Barbie, you captured my favorite season beautifully. One October in NC, on a raw and windy day, we happened upon the Woolly Worm Festival.
Thanks for bringing back my memories. You have a good eye for photography.
