Let me tell you guys my tale of woe. Saturday I go to the RV to start loading it for a trip. My clicker won't open the doors. Go to Auto Zone and replace batteries in clicker. Back to Rv but still won't open the doors. Use actual key to get inside. Try to start RV - won't start. Drive car to dealer and talk to service guy. He says I need a "wireless ignition module"; approximately $140 for labor plus. Call son-in-law who is mechanic. He checks and can't find part or any instruction on where or how to install. Soooooo first thing Monday call insurance road service and they send a tow truck. Tow truck driver says; "let me check the battery." Hooks to battery cables and bingo!!! Starts right up. Drive RV to dealership so they can charge battery. After several hours they tell me the battery (a 2012) has a bad cell and the goods news is that it still has some warranty left.
Bottom line: Check the simple solution (dead battery) first. None of the "mechanics" even thought of the battery. GRRRRRRR!!!!! Because of the hot weather I was not good about starting rig and running it for a while so its sat since August. Shame on me.
Now back to house to reload refrigerator for trip.
