Help me find my tamper

I like to "reorganize" my rig from time to time. This is usually a positive past time as I discard things I never really needed for fulltiming. But occasionally, I hit upon a new perfect spot to store something. The problem is remembering where that perfect spot is when I need the item. I store my super duper blender under my kitchen sink, but that darn ole tamper (used if you need to smoosh stuff into the blender blades) was always in my way or rolling out of the cupboard. I hardly ever use it so I found a new "perfect" place for it but I'll be darned if I can find it!
If you were that tamper, where would you be hiding? I just know it is in a really good place. Ideas?

LOL. Sorry I can't help you find your tamper, but you've made me feel better by knowing I'm not the only one who does this (on a regular basis).
It'll show up, and you'll say, "Oh, yeah...I remember now."

As small as my rv is, I've learned that if I decide there is a better place for something, I better hope I never need it. That said ... I still, on rare occasions think I've found that better place. Eventually (when you don't need the item) it turns up.

It will be in something that isn't "tamper resistant".

A friend is always talking about putting things out in the universe. Well putting my lost tamper into the universe brought results! I was so frustrated after searching for the last two weeks and not finding it. So after Vickie's "tamper resistant" comment, I stood in my kitchen knowing it should be there somewhere. Ya know how men think things are larger than they really are? Well I was guilty of this too. In my mind that tamper was HUGE. But when I looked at the blender container, I realized it was much smaller than I imagined. So I looked in all the kitchen drawers again. There it was! Hiding under an old oven mitt that I use as cushioning in the pot drawer.
So the mystery is solved but I just know it is because I put it out in the universe.

oh yea, I do that too. But if I had a tamper I'd keep it next to my potato masher

I think we have put a lot of things out to the universe but most of it hasn't come back.
It makes me so mad to have something in my hand and 5 minutes later I can't find it for anything.
When I first started doing bookkeeping in ledgers if I was off somewhere and couldn't find the mistake a lot of times it would come to me overnight. That function doesn't seem to be working anymore.

OK, I bought a small floor attachment for my canister vacuum and still cannot find it. I picked it up at my son's house in early May and put it in a safe place. Still have no idea where it is.
Anybody try these yet?

Judy, those tiles look like a solution for things lost frequently or expensive items.
