On the Road Day 3

Awoke to chilly, beautiful blue sky this morning. But before getting to day 3, here's a photo Carol took yesterday - what we will do for our fur babies when they need a grassy spot!
Back to today
After getting lost trying to get out of park this morning, we had good weather, flatter land and straighter roads for the long drive from southern tip to far northern IN. However to offset that good fortune, there were enough construction delays to slow us down. We are spending night just shy of 200 miles away from our first MI destination, Mt Pleasant.
Tho we passes many interesting buildings and farms beyond the 200 + miles of corn fields, no photos today - no good parking places near the interesting sites and too much traffic to stop in middle of road for pictures. Even more regretful was no place to pull in at numerous little roadside stands with wonderful looking fresh tomatoes, corn, etc.
After two failed attempts, we did finally find a place to get propane so I now have that first experience out of the way.
Oh, and Magic now has another problem issue. Not sure but think clogged intake water line and I have no idea how to resolve that. Discovered last night, no water. Another first: apparently in IN state parks there are no water hookups at sites - at least that was the case both last night and tonight. For now, I'm refilling a couple of jugs to use for flushing toilet and will buy drinking water when get to Mt Pleasant.
It has turned down right cold. This southern gal who just left 90+ temps in AL forgot it might not be the hottest tie of year in MI. I have 1 sweat shirt and 1 light sweater with me. If it doesn't warm up a bit, may have to do unexpected shopping.
Wasn't expecting a time zone change either.
All in all a good day and trip but Carol and I are both looking forward to a couple of days not driving.
Sorry but I'm going to have to wait 'till tomorrow night to catch up on forum posts.
