I can only imagine that you were so excited you could hardly stand it. Another great blog post, Liz. I've never been in a kayak, but you have me thinking about it.

Beautiful!!! It was good you were there so you could get a custom fit plus the experience of watching parts of it being made. Twelve pounds sounds like a perfect weight. And of course Thistle looks very pleased with his new ride.

Great shots, Liz! I can't wait to see it in person! Now I wish I had brought my canoe back with me from FL! I suppose, if I don't get a camper cap for the bed of my new truck, I can put my rack I bought years ago back on this truck and carry it that way. Not sure that I can afford a new cap this year, but we shall see. Am looking forward to seeing you again in August.
