went and checked out a campground yesterday....Fools Hollow Lake State Park. Its on the edge of town here at Showlow.
The camp pads were all cement and some were double wide if you had a party of two. All by reservation. There was also
an area for tent camping. When I tried to get a picture of the campsites, my camera said battery exhausted and I didn't
even think to use my cell phone until I was leaving.
One of the boat docks, there were two on the other side of the lake as well
There were people swimming in the lake just to the left, it looked pretty clean for lake water.
A fishing dock or you could fish off the shore if you wanted.
a cement walkway that went around the side of the lake, lead to more fishing docks
across the lake I could see the kayak rental and the campgrounds
just more of the lake
The couple working the gatehouse were work kampers and they allowed me a drive through pass if I was returned
out the gate a halfhour later and I got my day use $ back which was $7.
It was a very clean campground.
