You do have a beautiful spot for a day camp. When I was parked and couldn't travel, I spent lots of time researching and planning the trips I wanted to take, and places I wanted to visit. It helped keep me sane. Your day will come too.

Step by Step you move forward......when you are able to take off on those long hauls you will have so much more experience of everyday things than many.....

What weird plants. I think you are feeling what many of us on this forum feel. I do something similar to Liz. I like to collect info about places I want travel and see.

Donna, expressing your thoughts are not being a downer... you merely express what many of us want to do - get on the road & go! :) We just have to be patient, make our lists of places to go & things to do & know that our time will come. All in good time...
I do love that you are able to get out for the day & live the dream - even close by - you'll be so prepared when you are able to roam. :D
Hang in there - it will be your turn to go before you know it... 8-)

Thanks girls for your encouraging words I know how lucky I am to be “sitting in FL” and not in the cold snowy northwest PA…I have been thinking on the lines of planning some places to go…like maybe try and hit all the FL state parks….This is the plan for when I return to fL in the fall...right now I have to save my $$ for gas money in order to head north in May..and I am lucky to have that great park right around the corner from dads house. The plants I think only grow in the warm south states...I first learned of these from Judy of http://travels-with-emma.blogspot.com/ I have been following her blog for a few years
she is my "hero". If you have not seen her blog do check it out...
