Intro Catchup, Etc
Posted: Mon Mar 04, 2013 9:35 amI am so far behind with welcoming our newcomers, in order not to miss anyone this will have to suffice...It's always so interesting to meet new forum members and learn about the way you enjoy the RVing lifestyle or your desire to become an RV'er...
I am slowly getting ready to move back into my house. I finally finished lining all the shelves, most of them in kitchen of course. Getting up close again I see some areas in need of further cleaning, like around the range and dishwasher...It's so nice though to see my house looking almost new.
I did sell lots of things but I am going to have fun getting out to garage sales and emporiums to get some needed things. Of course my brother has a house full but he will have a big garage sale. My furniture is still in the house all except the two extra bedrooms which Doug will set up completely for himself and Hogan. I am getting a Lane Snuggler recliner for Rudy and myself. I am also going to get a larger screen TV and put it over the fireplace. This is a gas log fireplace and I use it. I'm waiting for DS to put in a new receiver and set up remote then I'll check the amount of heat that comes over the mantle..if anyone has done this please let me know how you liked it. I will be able to arrange my Great room much better than before.
I have been waiting about 10 days for my handyman to come put in a new drain in my shower here in RV...I try never to rush or push him...He is so good and very reasonable. I told him it wasn't like I didn't have a shower to use with DS's house next door and a few steps down to my house also. By the end of this week I might be spending most of my time at the house. I plan to load my truck with containers from the storage room several times this week.
I won't reply to any posts..I do keep up but I'm always afraid I will leave out someone...I rejoice with you and shed tears also....Have a good Monday and week ahead...
