I should have bought this T-Shirt. I remember every one of those curves!

I dragged the TT through this, that road just disappears downhill

There were lots of stairways leading up to other streets
Image

At the top of one of them there was a little park - and what a view!

Lots of art shops, and high end galleries. The miners would have been amazed. This Pyrocanthia was spectacular

I hope you can read this

Great pics.

So, can you get to Jerome without traveling 89A? Cuz it looks like a neat little town.

Yeah, just don't take 89A South. Go UP from Cottonwood. And if a road says NO vehicles over 40ft. I will obey, even if it doesn't add, and that means YOU, Jean. Oh and the one that said, No trucks. And the one that said High Tide.

The perfect T-shirt for you Sparkle would say "I survived 89A in an RV"! :) Loved the little town, thanks for sharing pics.

We ate lunch at the Asylum Restaurant ( used to be part of a insane house) and had a ghost Burger. Got to sit outside on the balcony and over look Jerome. Liked the artsy fartsy places especially the one where they were blowing glass. The big old bar on the corner was a hoot!

We have driven down 89A in our MH twice from Flagstaff, once carrying our motorcycle and the second our toad. Definitely hair raising but what spectacular views. Went both ways on the motorcycle. DH almost got squeezed to death  Hmmmm, maybe that's why he kept wanting to drive it. Didn't make it to Jerome or Cottonwood-but it is definitely on my BL now. Maybe this spring/summer. My list is growing, many of them coming from everyone's travels. Only one of the many reasons I love this Forum. carold

Hmmmmm? I have to admit I would like to wander that backyard in a coat with oversized pockets!! LOLOLOL

And somebody posted a picture on here of a riverbed with lots of interesting rocks? Oh gee I love checking out and picking up rocks. But I don't adopt the big ones only little ones. I am gonna have to really watch myself whenever we get an RV. ~sigh~

Great pictures Sparkle, someday I'll get there.
