I didn't think to post about it before it came on last night (bummer!) but was wondering if anyone else also watched 'Makers' on PBS last night?

Edit to add: I think I found it online if you missed it!

It was fantastic and brought back a lot of old memories. It really did a good job of explaining the women's movement and what life was like for women before then. It reminded me of being told in high school that I could not be an engineer or a chemist and how I had a choice of only three careers: teacher, nurse, or secretary.
One of my souvineers from those days is an "ERA, Yes" badge from then that I found and saved when I was cleaning out my stuff last spring. I think a lot of young women these days do not understand why their mothers or grandmothers were so limited and made the life and career choices they made.
