I've used Yahoo for my homepage for years and liked their setup. Now they have once again changed it and my homepage has a zillion things I don't want and can't figure out how to delete.
I looked at google and bing and don't like their setup. Any suggestions? I'm totally fed up with yahoo.

I use iGoogle - it's completely customizable. It's also going away in November - boohiss!

I have used Comcast and their homepage for many years and they just can't leave it alone!
For instance: My homepage tells me I have email; click here. I then click thinking I'm going to my email page, but no! It takes me to a holding area so I can first see who the emails are from. Then if I want to read them I have to click the "see entire email" button to go to yet another page.
I use to be able to customize it fairly easily. Now I have't a clue where the customize button went to and frankly I don't care. Mostly they are adding ads to the page, or something with Hollywood celebs. Yep, I'm fed up, too!!

Maggie, I use the iGoogle too and am not happy it is going away. I liked having just what I wanted on my home page.

I use the basic Google search page now. Change to it (any of the search pages work for me) instead of the others I used to have because it loads fast, has nothing on it to slow it down, and I can then decide where I want to go to get all the info I used to have on my home pages (like when I had Yahoo or the cable companies, etc etc).
You know, you could make the forum your home page

I use Portaportal. It's a site designed by an elementary school teacher primarily so that teachers can each have a page to gather links for classroom use. I love it! Very plain visually, but I have all my favorite links and all my resource links organized in one place -- and it's in the cloud, not on my computer, so it's available to me no matter where I get online or what computer I'm using. Lovely. Also, it's very stable, and only has a few ads running along one side column. I like it so much that I think if they ever went offline I'd have to get my own website and maintain a page that functioned the same way, just because it's so convenient.

I like Bing simply because there's nothing on there but picture and a search box....

I've used aol for years but sort of got fed up with clicking on a news article I wanted to read and it
wasn't what it said it was. It was very frustrating, especially Huffingtonpost. Now I use my local
favorite news channel, in my case, kpho, which is cbs. I've also had it set on Fox a too a time or two.
You can use anything as your homepage, even womenrv. All you do is drag the little icon over to
the homepage symbol and let it go.

I guess I am still in the dark ages, but I have used MSN for years. I can put on it what I want, delete any of the defaults. If they make changes, they aren't apparently as drastic as some of the others.

I use my blog as my home page; it make me happy to see a reminder of somewhere fun that I have been recently; and it changes every so often for I don't get bored. (Dropped iGoggle when they announced it would be discontinued).
