Sue, Tina's right - if the dogs aren't barkers, no one will pay any attention. Something I wish all dog owners would do is leave and sneak back to their rig 5 or 10 minutes later to see if their dogs are barking. People arrive home, hear the dogs bark and think the dogs are just happy to see them while their neighbors have listened to those dogs the whole time owners were gone. Recently had that happen 3 days in a row.

My rig is Peaches home. And before that Moxie and Tips. They stay home when I work, sight see, etc, with no problems. Working and camp hosting, only a couple times have I left notes for people regarding their dogs barking when not there. I take it as an opportunity to train the owners... But not to tell them they can't leave the dogs "home". Unless they ignore "training".

I've never had any trouble leaving my pups. Campgrounds don't seem to care if you leave them inside as long as they aren't barking. I always make sure it won't get too hot for them. Also because Abby likes to look out the window behind the sofa, she will bark if she sees other dogs. Because of that, I pull the shades down so she can't see out and that seems to fix that.

I've left my dogs in my Trailer on occasion here in MI and a few other places, the IN GTG for one. Guess I'm just being over cautious.

Tina, have you ever driven across 68 in MD on your way to a show or something? Am thinking of going that way to Gettysburg so I can see some of MD and also the Antietam battlefield. Was wondering what might be a good way though OH to get there. Have a couple possible routes, but suggestions would be welcome from you or anybody else who wants to chime in.

Yes, I have taken 68 several times over the years. Avoid the foggy mountain roads time of day! By now most of my driving across Ohio is on Interstates. I have seen enough of the small towns and fairgrounds for awhile anyway. A lot depends upon whether you want to take northern look at Ohio then head south or are interested in central or a southern route. They all have a few nice features.... Southwest Ohio brings you nearer the Hocking Hills State Park, the river town of Marietta, etc. and has several nice non interstate, divided highways There are no right or wrong ways, just preferences. If you come across I-70 and through Wheeling or through Marietta, either way you will need to pick your choice of roads to zig and zag on to pick up 68.......

Thanks Tina. I've been through OH a number of times up and down I-75, also on part of I-77 and through Holmes country and NW from there to MI, so like you, are looking for direct point from A to B. Will pick up 80 on way home, so will see that part of OH, but will leave turnpike. Route home is pretty well in place, just route down that's in the air. When does mountain fog usually set in?

I really don't know. I just remember making the drive across 68 back almost 30 years ago to pick up a dog in Baltimore. We left after school on Friday and drove through until well after midnight. The fog was thick

wow went to find the campfire thought those on the East part of the country could enjoy it
it warmed up here a lot ...up in the 90's way hot even for AZ for this time of the year but it should go down
next week into the 70's then we will cry COLD!!!
I need to replace the bulb in my lights over my bed those reading lights? sorta flush to the top of the slide out...can lay
in bed and reach up to touch the light turning it on or off...or to try and change the bulb what a joke that is
I can't get it to go in at the right angle..I guess have gotten it to connect so know at least that the light bulb is good
but can't get it to stay in place...what a pain in the tush....why do they design things that make it so hard to change???
when I was in Vegas decided to clean my sister's refrig couldn't figure out how to get the shelves out to wash them in the sink
took forever to get the bins out again Why???? all I can think of its a man who designs things like the curly pipe that goes down
the toilet that creates lots of extra cleaning on the outside of the toilet?? oh well one day I will get it in or replace the
light fixtures!!!

Sheila, I think most of those bulbs in RV lights have to be pushed in and turned a little bit to make them stay. I replaced the bulb in the light over my sink with one of the LSD bulbs and it is much cooler.

it is so calm tonight I could have started a fire to burn all the stuff I want to burn but it's late
and I sorta talked myself out of it...It seems sorta dry would hate to start a fire in more than the
fire pit...so think I will toss it ...hate to but rather do that than have a wind come up and send sparks
gave in and bought a garmin would you believe that it has no instructions??? would would think???
yes I know it is on line ....but!!!!
we have had so much wind it seems weird not to feel the trailer moving
Ava did it ever make it to you?
now to get to work on doing stuff to get ready to leave..did laundry today...I think a first was at one time the only
one in the laundromat think the owner was in the eatery :) seemed really strange...
