Such a great lunch with Sue! Beautiful drive (sunshine and fall color), good food, excellent company. :D Even the dogs had fun!

my problem Ava is I take a lot of breaks... at this point not sure of what I am doing for sure
yesterday I didn't even know if the generator was going to get fixed if it was was expecting it to be
next week so began making plan b which was ride down to Ogden with one of the dd's enjoy the weekend
come home and hopefully leave on Tues..looked at Weather.com and it was saying rain lots of it on
Friday not on Tues. so helped in the decision but today when I called to see if he had gotten the carburetor
he said that I needed to come get it...oops my first thought was that he couldn't find the carburetor and just
wasn't going to fix it...then he said that it was fixed he had taken and cleaned it up and it starts...hopefully it will
be good to go for the winter...when I went to pick it up he didn't even charge me yes I know he is the gs's father in law but
I fully expected to pay for the work ...perhaps this winter I will make something for them...so now I could if I was ready to
go on Friday if I go on Friday I would be at the campground for several days if I leave it here will only be at the campground
for perhaps 2 days so it would be cheaper...need to have my lights looked at they are weird...when the lights are on and I turn
the signals on it is very loud and flashes lamp out (they aren't) but if the lights are not on when the signal is turned on it doesn't
do anything sounds normal no lamp out...they thought it was a circuit board I think but the new one didn't change anything...so
he needs the truck for more than a few minutes...so not sure when I will leave for AZ some time in the next week or two I am sure

still not sure how I am going to made the move from I15 to 95 ...I am pretty much ready to go weather wise today was a great day
but when I decided to stick around here till Friday slowed down it's to the stuff to toss in the back of the truck into the sink ect oh and the ladder
and the satellite can't forget it in fact hoping my son in law will set it up while in Ogden but will see
I have 4 daughters with a son tucked into them...my 3rd born suffers from anxiety and depression and panic attacks... for some reason
she has had panic attacks for most of the week...today we went to the dr...more meds to help her get through this then off work for
a couple of weeks in hopes that it doesn't continue on a down ward spiral so now I am feeling guilty for leaving....not sure of what help
I would be just pray for her ok?

Sounds good so far! Sorry to hear about your daughter. Been there, done that. Not much that you can do but pray and support and encourage her.

Plan on leaving on Monday....
my steps are really tough to pull out so may need to do some work
on them not sure what to take to them
saw my daughter (youngest) helped with some outdoor projects
even saw my son and his wife on there way to the movies but didn't see their two daughters
my son in law usually gets my tv set up really quick for some reason he hasn't succeeded here
pretty tough going cold turkey

Shelia,

If your steps are like all the rest of ours our, probably got a little rust on them. Try taking a steel wool and going over it lightly and then put some WD-40 on the moving parts.

Sue, WD-40 is death on moving parts where there's dust, as it acts like a magnet. Something like white lithium grease is recommended for dry areas such as ours.

And I've pretty much switched to silicone spray where I can't use the white lithium. I was told to avoid the WD40 in too many areas that now I'm afraid to use it on much.

he used the white lithium grease
works well ...I can get them down with ease again
now in Needles CA for the night then on to Q
was in traffic in Vegas trying to find my way (the ramp going from 15 to 95/93) was closed
according to my sister...so missed two exists decided I was going to go to Nipton and to Searchlight that way
realized someone was really close not sure if it was a truck or pickup didn't see it well enough..the mirror comes toward
the window...took me a moment to process it all was so fast...was able to get the mirror out and readjusted all though it
wasn't in it's big load mode but for the most part it was big enough...got to Needles went out to fill the fresh water tank with
a bit of water and the latch that the key goes into was bent back covering the lock...that sucker was so close and Heavenly Father
was really watching out for me...didn't know how much till I got here...
it will close and lock but open another door the one with the batteries and the slide fluid to check its level now can't get it to close
need to figure it out ...had wanted to just sleep till I woke up tomorrow but the check out time is 11:00 so guess I will have to
get up earlier than the bod wants to at this moment

Shiela, glad you made it back to Q.

Any Garth Brooks fans, there is a concert on Directv Channel 239. It's almost over but is playing again at 1:00 am central time.
