A long time ago when this thread started we kept things tidy, the fire going, and the adult beverages in stock...Well, since I have sometime, I've raked around the site, re-started the camp fire, stacked the wood Ernie brought in, cleaned the hot tub, and re-stocked the box wines, along with putting a few cases of beer on ice.. ;) ;) :o The gals in KS are having such an exciting time, with touring, hassling the park ranger  ;) , eating to a sleep coma, and of course, indulging in adult beverages, I thought the rest of us could have our "virtual GTG" right here....( remember this is all "tongue-in-cheek") ;) So with that in mind, I'll start the campfire singing with.......wait for it...... :D

"99 bottles of beer on the wall....99 bottles of beer.....I took 2 bottles down for Ernie & me....97 bottles of beer on the wall..."

Have a great night, all... ;)

oh yes Lori, thank you for all your hard work and of course thank you to the Sultan for bringing in the wood. But wondering
if you are still keeper of the bail money  just in case those wild girls get in any kind of trouble in Kansas.
With that said, 96 bottles of beer on the wall, 96 bottles of beer, take one down and pass it around, 95 bottles of beer
on the wall :D

They're only behaving themselves because they have the park ranger keeping a close eye on them!
I'll have a beer for later...94 left...

The eight-year-old made this for me this summer.

In case you're wondering, this is how you spell "Miss Louise's Trailer" in second grade.

95 bottles of beer on the wall, 95 bottles of beer, take one down and pass it around, 94 bottles of beer . . .

Grabbed a bottle for hubby. 92 bottles of beer on the wall. He's putting virtual ribs on the BBQ. What you bringing to the picnic? Theirs a cold jug of lemonade for those who don't want beer.

Been a very busy 4 days up here on the North Shore of Lake Superior! Tons of waterfalls, some pretty fall colors starting on the maples, too much road construction, wicked winds causing huge waves on the lake that would make a surfer drool, not enough agates on the beaches, very few animals seen, and not enough time to do and see everything I wanted to do and see. But I am sore and exhausted from all the hiking, driving, and agate hunting!
The cabin I stayed in was very nice with a great view of a large waterfall which lulled me to sleep each night. Tonight I am in Duluth in a noisy motel. Tomorrow I am going to the Zoo across the street in the morning before heading for home.
Will give more details and pics in a day or two. Am just using my Nook right now.

Barbie, it sounds like you had quite a nice time on your vacation. I loved your pictures and can totally understand your soreness and exhaustion. It was all for good as I totally enjoyed your hikes. :D Thanks for sharing with us.

Grabbing a bottle of beer, so make it 91 bottles of beer on our wall. Need one, we were busy today and I'm predicting most days will be for the full time I'm here. Off tomorrow though. Will go into the little town and pick up some produce and veggies to counteract all the fattening stuff on my work days :o Then will do laundry. And I'm sure I'll get another hundred or so mosquito bites taking Peaches to romp down by the water. My ankles look pretty sad. Ok taking a 2nd bottle to try to forget about the itching, so that

Makes it 90 bottles of beer on the wall.

90 bottles of beer on the wall, 90 bottles of beer, took two down, 88 bottles of beer on the wall. Phoenix does not like beer past the first sip but I'm thirsty

Sitting at the CG in Wapakoneta OH.

Cooked a pork loin in the Smoky Joe tonight with some brow rice and steamed broccoli.

Played with a new version of mustard BBQ sauce. There's a hole in the wall BBQ joint in Riverhead, NY called SPICY's that uses a Mustard BBQ sauce and that was what I'm trying to mimic. Have not been there is 20 years but according to the internet they are still there. We use to get a bucket of wings for the ferry ride from Montauk, NY to New London, CT

1 cup yellow mustard
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup apple cider vinegar
2 T onion powder
2 T garlic powder
2 T crushed pepper flakes.
Bring to a boil and simmer for 20 min. Cool, bottle and refrigerate.

Has a sweet and sour mustard flavor with a touch of heat in the finish. Great on chicken wings and pork.

Louise I love your virtual trailer. The eight year old is very talented, even if his spelling is a bit creative!
