Looks divine. But I bet it's on the sweet side, not sweaty. :-)

Darn typo's....

Thank you and yes, we live in Fort Wayne, IN but most weekends we can be found in Wapakoneta OH at Lakewood Village Resort (the "resort" part of the name always makes me laugh, see FB). We would very much like to make it to the KS GTG but last April I got hurt at work and it's still not better. Now I have a non-restrictive blood clog in the same leg I hurt and on top of that I had bronchitis in June and now I appear to have asthma and they are testing me for sleep apnea. Once we get it all under control we'll be heading out to some GTG's.

We love cooking for groups and love having cover dishes at the CG with friends. Enjoy tasting all the different foods.

The campfire just can’t go to the second page so I’d better save it! I don’t post much but I usually read the forum during my lunch break so I do pretty much keep up on what’s going on. Hated having to back out of the Kansas GTG but S*&^ happens and it appears that it smacked several others also. I was fortunate enough to have Liz visit in July. Birdie is arriving tomorrow. Maybe if I just keep Camp Cihak open sooner or later I will get the chance to meet many of you on your way to or from the Big Stone Faces. There is a chance that I will be going to Keystone to see Beth this coming weekend. It was a positive trip until Friday when my friend and travel companion Missy’s 32 year old son had appeared to have a stroke. Luckily yesterday it was determined that it was not a stroke, however he still does not have any movement in his left leg and minimal movement with his left arm. So in the next couple of days there will be more tests to determine what the problem is and if we will leave on Friday. As of right now Missy has her three grandchildren until her DIL can come back and she has to find a driver with a CDL who can drive the truck for the sanitation business. Personally I worried about how much more that Missy can take. In the past 17 months she has lost her dad and less than a year ago her husband died very unexpectedly. She’s had to take over running the sanitation business plus her own business. When Liz was here Miss had a major melt-down and I felt terrible that I had to leave Liz high and dry to go over to her house. Luckily after that her step-daughter and I were able to convince her to go to grief counseling and it does appear to be helping. Just so this does cause a setback. So I’m just sitting here drinking a cold one and stirring the coals and wishing I had the power to make everything in the world right. :)

I feel bad for your friend...hope she can get away it sounds like a trip away is just what she needs! Hopefully she will have some
positive things found out about her son...and that he will start to improve...the next time I head East I will make sure I find my way to
your camp...even if I'm with out the rv...until I have a stronger truck think I will limit myself to trips with the rv to just down to Q and back up
take care hope you will make it to Beth's

I hope you make it, too. But if not we still have a couple months too figure something out while I'm at the pheasant farm. I'm going to try to do most of my cleaning up and getting ready to move tomorrow and Tuesday so that I won't need that weekend to do much.

As of right now, two days off then work Wed through Friday and play the weekend before heading to the farm.

((((((((((HUGS)))))))))) )Pat for you and your friend. Sounds like she has more then any one person should have to deal with. I'm so glad you are there for her. Praying she will get a good report on her son soon

I hope the trip to visit Beth works out, Think it would be good medicine for her and you too. There is stress in being the friend that is always there.

Have been missing you, Pat - actually expecting photos of that grandboy! So sorry for what your friend is going through, but it seems to me that many are getting hit hard with one issue after another. She's lucky to have you!

When Ryan was in high school the football team won two state championships back to back and Ryan was an all-state player his junior and senior year. He was number 3. In the past 8 months 5 of the starters on that team have fathered sons! I have given them all a Pirate jersey with their dad's number on it! Just found out that there is a possibility of two more football players before next April! We not far from manning another team!

Ashley's sister just started a part-time photography business. This is one of my favorites that she took during a practice session with Bronc.

Now...aren't you sorry you asked! ;)
