Fire feels good this morning. It is a little chilly in here this morning. That shelter sure is gonna be nice ----hope Ernie finds some good stuff in the recycle area. It is warming up here this weekend. I will be glad. Got some fresh homemade cinnamon rolls right out of the oven ready for whoever drops by.

Oooh that fire feels good this morning and cinnemon rolls, too. I'm in heaven. Yesterday got into the 80's but it got cold at night. I'll throw another log on the fire and stick my toes close to the heat.

Stacked up some more wood. Weather report warns of a few more waves of snow coming though..... Ski while you can....spring will be here before we know it. Enjoying the fire for awhile before heading in....have to go through some old pictures and find someone missing.......one thing I have realized over the years... those pictures that at the time I thought were awful don't look so terrible in hindsight. I see a different child smiling back at me now. Always makes my wonder why I was so critical of my younger self. Cookies are now officially gone. I will drop off some replacement - just don't expect them to be home baked....not one of my talents....

Hey Irene, welcome back. So very sorry to hear that you've had so many troubles. I'll keep you and yours in my prayers.

You beat me to the campfire. I just took the dogs out and while standing on the back porch I got thinking about how wonderful a nice roaring campfire would feel. Ahhhhhhhh I think it needs a few more pieces of wood to get it ripping. I've got my coffee and Baileys and I now feel like I'm in heaven.

Got my housework done did the dishes, floors, laundry, part of the living room, a little bit of the bathroom, brushed out Shade and gave her a bath, washed my hair and then gave Mother Nature a helping hand with it. I'm pretty much pooped. Now while I'm sitting here enjoying the campfire I'm gonna attack my kitchen table and attempt to find the top of it. I swear that I have been cursed with gremlins the whole entire of my adult life. They hate clean kitchen tables. It's a constant battle. It is still undecided who will win this war. But I'm putting up a he77 of a good fight.

Now just let me scooch a little closer to the fire so I can toss some of these papers in to burn. It'll save me from dragging out the shredder.

NIce warm fire here this morning! I will leave some more logs, too, to keep it going until I get home from school! I see that Tina now has an avatar so we can recognize you!! CONGRATS! (By the way, what in heck does Avatar mean, anyway, and where did it come from??)

Gotta get moving now and get out of here on time. Have a nice hand-warming time in front of the neat fire!
Life is about learning to dance in the rain
Happy travels!

Irene, glad to see you back, we missed you. The fire feels good this morning, in the 30's here. Dogs ate and went back to bed and my water hose froze. Off to have another cup of coffee.

giving the fire a little stir, I like to see the pretty little sparkles in the fire when I
do that :P I got my computer back today, repaired modem and lots of memory now.
Now I can go view the pictures Carol posted of the places in Mexico she has visited
over the last week. I really missed being able to see those pictures.
Our weather is starting to warm up, still need a jacket in the morning though, but
the local ducks are doing their little mating ritual here so we have to drive really
careful cause ya never know when there will be a pair or two around the corner
strutting in the street.
My strawberry plant is really taking off, it has 4 strawberries growing and I've added
a little early girl tomato plant in the next pot.
Leaving a little firewood for ya's, its mesquite so it will burn hot be careful. :P
Having a little crancherry juice, in a wine glass of course for ambience  and
I'm off to look at pictures of mexico.
